Congress "Sport, stress adaptation - Olympic sport and sport for all"

13 April 2010 President of the International Tennis Federation attends the NSA congress
The President of the International Tennis Federation will pay a special visit to the Congress "Sport, stress adaptation - Olympic sport and sport for all", organized by the NSA. The first visit of Francesco Ricci Bitti to Bulgaria will begin with a press conference at 14.30 h, on April 22, at Press club “Bulgaria”, at which the rector of NSA Prof. L. Dimitrov will also take part.
The prominent guest, who is also a member of the International Olympic Committee, will receive the honorary title Doctor Honoris Causa at the opening ceremony of the congress starting at 10.30 on April 23. Ricci Bitti is going to deliver a public lecture after the awarding.
The international forum enjoys considerable interest and representatives from 20 countries have confirmed their participation so far. Reports on recent scientific developments will be represented by internationally recognized researchers like: Professor Vladimir Platonov, Rector of the Ukrainian University of Physical Education and Sports, Prof. Ulrich Hartmann - Head of the Institute for Movement and Training Science in Sports at the University of Leipzig, Prof. Timo Vuorimaa - Finnish University of Applied Sciences Haaga-Helia, Prof. Benoît Séguin - Director of Graduate Studies, School of Human Kinetics, University of Ottawa, Canada, Dr. Monèm Jemni - Sport & Exercise Science University of Greenwich. UK. The program of the congress is focused on current developments and trends in sports science. It will include presentations on new scientific publications - books, textbooks, case studies of educators and researchers from the National Sports Academy. The famous publishing house Taylor & Francis, whose authors are among the most prominent names in the world of science, will be represented by their latest editions.
