The rector of NSA paid a visit to the German Sport University


The main purpose of the visit between 24-26th February, 2010 in Cologne, Germany was a discussion and signing of a contract for cooperation in the development of applied research center for football scouting at the NSA "Vasil Levski", represented by Prof. Lachezar Dimitrov and Assoc. Prof. Lozan Mitev.

Furthermore some actual issues concerning the Erasmus program, the bilateral agreement for cooperation and its amendments were debated as well.

Two-year contract for cooperation was signed between the NSA and Bulgarian Football Union from one part, and the Sport University of Cologne of the other part. The partners committed themselves to carry out Informative and technological cooperation, exchange of scientific information and methodology for the development of football scouting.

During the talks certain practical initiatives were identified and both parties agreed that further improvements in terms of exchange of students and opportunities for training German students in Bulgaria are needed. Regarding the studies the organisations agreed upon cooperation in joint scientific research in the field of conditional training and Olympic movement.

At a brief meeting with Bulgarian students studying in the Sport University of Cologne the Rector of NSA obtained information about their academic performance.


During his stay the Bulgarian delegation received warm reception by the hosts due to the existing openness and mutual understanding of common goals.
