Education and Career

Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Sofia in 1997. Acquired specialties in "Pediatrics" and "Pediatric Pulmonology and Phthisiology". Master's degree in "Public Health and Health Management" from MU-Sofia. Additional qualifications: thoracic ultrasound examination, conventional fibrobronchoscopy, abdominal ultrasound, spirometry, genetic and epidemiological methods for studying pulmonary diseases, etc.

Teaching Activities

Teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students in disciplines: pediatrics, participates in conducting state internship practice.

Research Interests

In the field of bronchial asthma throughout childhood, the impact of prematurity on respiratory function, viral and bacterial respiratory infections, limiting the abuse of antibiotics, preventive medicine in early childhood.

Publications, Textbooks, Guides

Annual participation in national and international scientific forums, congresses, and conferences in the fields of pediatrics, pediatric pulmonology, pediatric infectious diseases, and vaccine-preventable diseases. Has over 50 publications in local and international editions.
