- 1979 – 1996 athlete in rowing in CSKA - Sofia
- 1983-1996 athlete in the National Rowing Team of Bulgaria
- 1983 – graduated from the CSKA Sports School in Sofia
- 1985-1992 – studied and graduated from the National Sports Academy – Pedagogical Department
- 1997 – International License for Umpire in Rowing
- 2001 – Defended successfully PhD in Theory and Methodology of Training
- 2002 – FISA Internships Programme
Career in Rowing
· Athlete
- 1979-1996 – more then 20 times Bulgarian Champion in Rowing
- 1982-1996 – participated in 9 World Rowing Championships, three Olympic Games and many International Rowing Regattas
In this period achieved:
- 1983 WCH – silver medal in Vichy, France
- 1988 OG – fifth place in Seoul, South Korea
- 1987 WCH – bronze medal in Copenhagen, Denmark
- 1989 WU– gold medal in Duisburg, Germany
- 1993 WCH – bronze medal in Rudnice, Check Republic
- 2004 – Swiss Champion in 4x
