Boryana Kaleyn Makes a Valuable Donation to NSA’s Educational and Olympic Center
Published on 10 February 2025 Olympic silver medalist in rhythmic gymnastics Boryana Kaleyn has made a valuable donation to the Educational and Olympic Center at the National Sports Academy. Boryana, who is a student in the "High-Performance Sports" master's program at NSA, donated the leotard she wore during her magnificent ball routine at the Paris 2024 Olympics. She presented the precious outfit to Rector Prof. Krasimir Petkov in the presence of Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Assoc. Prof. Hristo Andonov and her personal coach, Mariyana Pamukova. "Boryana, thank you once again for the joy and emotion you brought us with your performances, not only at the Olympic Games in Paris but throughout your entire successful career," said Prof. Petkov. "It is wonderful that this leotard, which we associate with your brilliant achievements, will be displayed at the Educational and Olympic Center of the National Sports Academy, inspiring young people and the many visitors who come specifically to witness unique artifacts of Bulgaria’s sporting glory," emphasized the NSA Rector. "It is a great honor for me that my leotard will be exhibited in this important collection. Even more so because the Center is at the National Sports Academy 'Vasil Levski,' an institution that has produced many great athletes and legendary coaches who have created unforgettable champions. It truly means a lot to me that my outfit will become part of such a significant history and tradition," shared Boryana Kaleyn. At the end of last year, NSA’s Olympic and Educational Center was officially accredited by the International Olympic Committee and is now part of the global network of Olympic centers dedicated to the advancement of education, culture, and scientific research in the field of Olympism and the Olympic movement. |
