The rector of NAA was a guest speaker at a training seminar with directors and deputy directors of sports schools

On November 21, the rector of the National Sports Academy, Prof. Krasimir Petkov, was a guest speaker at a training seminar with directors and deputy directors of sports schools from all over the country.

The event, held at the initiative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, was opened by Minister Georgi Glushkov, who addressed the leadership of the schools participating in the seminar.

“Your role as leaders of our young talents is crucial not only for the development of their individual sports skills but also for shaping the values of sports, discipline, teamwork, and fighting spirit, which will be useful for their future realization,” said Minister Glushkov.

The aim of the seminar was to share methodological guidelines for applying the legal framework in managing and controlling the educational and training process, opportunities for partnership with the National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski" to ensure professional education for students and career development for teachers in specialized training, the exchange of ideas, innovations, and good practices, as well as discussing important issues and proposals for development.

Guest speakers at the seminar also included Assoc. Prof. Vera Antonova, Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy at NAA "Vasil Levski", and Stanislav Gruev, Chief Expert at the Directorate for "Curricula and Educational Content" at the Ministry of Education and Science.
