The CSKA Foundation donated books to NSA for the Day of the Enlighteners
Published on 04 November 2024  The CSKA Foundation provided dozens of contemporary books on a variety of sports topics as a donation to the Educational and Olympic Center and the Library of the National Sports Academy. The donation was personally received by NSA Rector Prof. Krasimir Petkov, who expressed gratitude to the foundation and stated that the provided literature would be available to students, athletes, and educators to increase their awareness and enrich their knowledge. Representing the CSKA Foundation was the football team’s psychologist – Assistant Prof. Polina Hadzhiyankova, who is also a lecturer at NSA. Among the books are biographies of Ronaldo, Messi, Modric, Guardiola, Andre Agassi, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, as well as the great stories of CSKA legends. The donation was made on the eve of the Day of the National Enlighteners, to emphasize that sports and education go hand in hand and to highlight the importance of intellectual development, especially among young athletes. |
