Bulgaria now has two medals at the World Wrestling Championship in Las Vegas.

The first prize in a phenomenal way won Evelina Nikolova in the category to 55 kg . Our athlete lost with 0: 7 from Kuynyu Pang, but then with a masterful grip pinned the Chinese athlete and deservedly brought the first medal for the Bulgarian delegation in USA.

Evelina is a player from our wrestling club and she was elected for the Athlete of the Year – 2013 of the Academy.

The second bronze medal brought Taibe Usain in the category to 63 kg. She crashed with 13:2 Anastasia Grigorieva (Latvia) and guaranteed her fourth medal from World Championships.

Taibe also won a quota for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
