XXXIV International Track and Field Tournament “New Stars” in NSA

The stadium of the National Sports Academy will host the 34th edition of the championship on 24 May 2012 at 3:00 p.m. The tournament is called “New Stars”, because its main goal is to discover new athletic talents.
The event is organized by the “Track-and-field athletics” department of the Academy, the Bulgarian Athletics Federation, the Track-and-field athletics club “KLASA” and the Sofia Municipal Council.
The winners in the following disciplines will be awarded with memorial prizes:

• - Javelin (men) – prize named after Assoc. Prof. Dimcho Buchvarov
• - Javelin (women) – prize named after Assoc. Prof. Milcho Milenski
• - 100 m (men) – prize named after Prof. Mihail Bachvarov
• - 800 m (women) – prize named after Prof. Georgi Lazarov

The tournament is under the patronage of the Rector of the National Sports Academy Assoc. Prof. Pencho Geshev.
