Three Gold Medals for Rhythmic Gymnasts at the World Cup in Sofia
| Published on 07 April 2025 The national rhythmic gymnastics team won a total of five medals at the World Cup tournament held at “Arena 8888” in Sofia from April 4 to 6. First-year NSA student Stiliana Nikolova claimed silver in the individual all-around, where the title went to Ukraine’s Taisiya Onofriychuk. In the apparatus finals, Nikolova earned two gold medals in hoop and ball, while Eva Brezalieva took bronze in clubs. The group, composed of Sofia Ivanova, Rachel Stoyanov (also a student at NSA), Alina Kolomiyets, Suzan Puladian, Danaya Atanasova, and Viktoria Georgieva, delivered the best performance with five ribbons and won the gold medals, but finished fourth in the all-around after mistakes in the routine with three balls and two hoops. “We are on the right track. |
