Published on 16 December 2024 On December 12, 2024, the annual internal championship in basic gymnastics for first-year students from the Faculty of Pedagogy and the Faculty of Sport took place. The participants performed excellently, showcasing their preparation under the guidance of their gymnastics instructors. The Rector of the National Sports Academy, Prof. Krassimir Petkov, congratulated the students and wished them success in the competition. The event was opened by Assoc. Prof. Georgi Sergiev, Head of the Department of Gymnastics. Guests of the event included Prof. Ognyan Miladinov – Vice Rector for Research and International Activities, Assoc. Prof. Hristo Andonov – Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Emil Atanasov – Dean of the Faculty of Sport, Assoc. Prof. Todor Marinov – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, and Prof. Kiril Andonov – a long-standing Head of the Department of Gymnastics. Team Ranking – Women 1st Place – Group 19 2nd Place – Group 21 3rd Place – Group 20 Individual Ranking – Women Miss Basic Gymnastics – Mila Stankova (Group 21), with runners-up Viktoria Simeonova (Group 15) and Katerina Pchelinska (Group 13).
